At the 21st ARIA Awards held in Sydney on Sunday night The John Butler Trio were honoured to be joined by Keith Urban on stage as they delivered an incredible performance of the bands ‘Funky Tonight’ single which was nominated for single of the year. The performance was the highlight of the evening with a standing ovation throughout the room as the two highly respected guitarists duelled throughout the track alongside the JBT’s rhythm section, Michael Barker and Shannon Birchall.

TOMMY EMMANUEL CANCELS AUSTRALIAN TOUR

After canceling concert dates in the Netherlands due to exhaustion and illness, Grammy award nominated guitarist Tommy Emmanuel has been advised to cancel his Australian tour which was to commence on December 29th. He will return to his home in Nashville, Tennessee immediately to receive treatment for health issues that will require an extended recovery time.
