Catherine Britt Gains Major US Tour Support

& Garnier Product Endorsement.

Emerging Australian singer/songwriter Catherine Britt has recieved a massive career boost with the announcement that she'll be touring with US superstars Brooks & Dunn and Alan Jackson this American summer.

The 25 show major arena tour starts in May and will ensure Britt performs in front of over half a million people over the tour's duration. The size of the tour can't be underestimated, as it will ultimately be one of the top 10 grossing tours of 2007 in the US.

Britt, who has a major label deal with RCA Records in the US, is currently recording her first American based album with Grammy Nominated producer, Brett Beavers. The album is expected to be released later this year in that territory and locally through ABC Music, so the timing of the tour, which will introduce her to hundreds and thousands of new fans, couldn't be more perfect.

Catherine is also now one of the faces of a new Garnier campaign in the US. Over 400,000 buyers of Garnier hair products will be amongst the first people to hear her new material, with a track of hers appearing on a special CD sampler accompanying the products for a limited time. One lucky Garnier buyer will also have the opportunity to walk the red carpet with Britt and a group of other emerging stars at the Nationally televised CMT Awards in Nashville on April 16th.
