  Catherine Britt Hits Home with New Album
After five years of living in Nashville, Catherine Britt is back home to release her new album, Little WildFlower. After touring with US superstars, Brooks & Dunn and Alan Jackson, Catherine has been on an amazing & tumultous journey and has quite the story to tell. The new twelve track record was produced by Grammy-nominated producer, Brett Beavers, & features guest contributors, Keith Urban, Tommy Emmanuel and Buddy Miller. While Britt’s first two albums were traditional country records, her creative desire to grow professionally, as an artist and woman, is evident on this new offering. Catherine co-wrote nine of the twelve songs on the album, all of which explore the conflicting emotions that come with self-doubt, being in love and living in a city filled with ever-changing challenges and opportunities. Throughout the album she exposes her vulnerabilities, flaws, fears, regrets and mistakes - most notably in the remarkably honest What I Did Last Night. She also reveals a sexiness and a hint of the things she truly desires, in tracks like Little Wildflower, Lucky Girl and You’re The One I Love. Little Wildflower is Catherine Britt’s most honest, revealing and contemporary album to date. It explores a side of her never revealed before, and perhaps a side she wasn’t ready to reveal, until now. It’s an album young women will relate to and an album people of all ages will grow to love and appreciate. Catherine will appear at the 2008 Tamworth Country Music Festival before embarking on a national tour which reunites her with Brooks & Dunn in Australia in February & March. “I can’t wait for everybody to hear my new music.
