TOMMY EMMANUEL CANCELS AUSTRALIAN TOUR.
After canceling concert dates in the Netherlands due to exhaustion and illness, Grammy award nominated guitarist Tommy Emmanuel has been advised to cancel his Australian tour which was to commence on December 29th. He will return to his home in Nashville, Tennessee immediately to receive treatment for health issues that will require an extended recovery time.

MORGAN EVANS WINS 2007 TELSTRA ROAD TO TAMWORTH.
Morgan Evans from Mt Hutton, New South Wales, won the 2007 Telstra Road To Tamworth competition. Singing before a crowd of over 1500, Morgan was selected as the overall winner after wowing the judges with two of his own songs, including ‘There’s No Time’. Morgan thanked the sponsors & judges before dedicating the win to his grandparents. Morgan will head off to the country music capital of the world, Nashville USA, later this year where he will record a single with Sony BMG.
Briana Lee from Kialla will also head to Nashville as part of the Songwriter’s Encouragement Award. Judges recognised Briana Lee’s songwriting skills and awarded her the highly sought after package which includes appointments with top American country music songwriters.
