  SHANNON NOLL ROCKS THE SNOWYS!
TURN IT UP for multi-platinum selling artist, SHANNON NOLL, who has just been added to the spectacular line-up of International and Australian artists appearing at CMC ROCKS THE SNOWYS, being held in Thredbo (NSW), over the weekend of Friday 14th March & Saturday 15th March, 2008. With eleven consecutive top ten singles (including current hit single, Loud); four ARIA nominations, five ARIA #1 Chart Awards and three consecutive AVMA Awards for Best Male Artist, Noll has become one of the most successful, iconic and beloved performers in the country. His brand new single, In Pieces (from new album, TURN IT UP), has just been released this month. “I am stoked to be part of such an incredible lineup,” says Noll. “I can’t wait to get out and play with my band in a Festival environment again. Thredbo .. here we come!” Grammy-nominated, Roots & Bluegrass singer/songwriter, and Host of the Americana Music Awards for the past three years, JIM LAUDERDALE, has also been added to the line up. Nashville-based Lauderdale said, “It’s a total privilege to be returning to Australia for such a fun event!” Acclaimed Australian singer/songwriter, MIA DYSON, who won the 2005 ARIA Award for Best Blues & Roots Album for her second album, Parking Lots – and appeared as Special Guest on the recent Australian Tours of Eric Clapton and Bonnie Raitt - is also performing at CMC ROCKS THE SNOWYS. Other artists performing at the Festival include: JOHN BUTLER TRIO, GARY ALLAN (USA), SUGARLAND (USA), ADAM HARVEY, PATTY GRIFFIN (USA), BRIAN CADD, CATHERINE BRITT, THE McCLYMONTS, STEVE FORDE, MORGAN EVANS and SHEA FISHER.
