Morgan Evans is the new face of Aussie country-rock - the Newcastle singer-songwriter, whose unique blend of Keith Urban style pop-country and Foo Fighters-esque guitar rock, has won him legions of fans all around the country.

Morgan has racked up more career milestones than many performers manage in a lifetime, including award nominations, a number 1 single, and performances with Taylor Swift, Thirsty Merc, Brooks & Dunn, Shannon Noll, Adam Harvey and more. He cut his teeth as front-man and guitar slinger for multi-award winning rock trio, Solver, whose accolades include Best Rock Act and Artist of the Year in October 2006 at the prestigious MusicOz Awards.

Three months later, Morgan’s triumphant win at the 2007 Telstra Road to Tamworth Grand Final propelled his already fast-rising career into high gear. The prize included a trip to Nashville, where he performed at the prestigious Global Artist Showcase; and subsequently was invited to perform in front of 50,000 fans at the CMA Music Festival.

He recorded his debut single, “Big Skies”, in Nashville with producer Mark Moffatt (Keith Urban) and, following its release in late 2007, Morgan has hit #1 on both the National CMC Chart and the National Hot Country Airplay Chart; #4 on the ARIA Hitseekers Chart; and #28 on the ARIA Top 100 Physical Singles Chart. In 2008, Morgan received two Golden Guitar nominations, and threw himself into a relentless live touring schedule. He played to thousands of music lovers across the nation as special guest on Brooks & Dunn’s sold-out Arena Tour; joined Californian rocker, Gary Allan, and Canadian Roots Artist of the Year, Corb Lund, on the Living Hard tour, performed on the inaugural CMC Rocks the Snowys Festival 2008, the massive Deni Ute Muster and spent Christmas entertaining the troops in East Timor.

Morgan was handpicked by American superstar, Taylor Swift, to join her on her first Australian Tour, which sold-out Nationally. He was invited to return to perform on the CMC Rocks the Snowys 2009 Festival and is now recognised as the #1 Most Played Aussie Country Music Artist on MySpace, with more plays daily than often more-established rock and pop artists. The ME story is just getting started and will kick into high gear again soon when Morgan unleashes some new music onto the waiting public...
