She was a recent winner of the Queensland Quest Community Newspapers YoungStar Award in the field of Arts/Education.
Her' first single 'You Get Me' was release in October 2008 and her debut EP You Get Me was released on January 17, 2009 through ABC Music/Universal Music Australia.
The five-track EP also includes the self-penned ballad 'Butterflies' as well as 'Happy Ever After' which Sinead co-wrote with the mutli-ARIA nominated Catherine Britt.
Sinead Burgess performed at the 2009 CMC Rocks The Snowys Festival in March, on a bill which included Taylor Swift, Pete Murray and The Waifs.
She will continue to tour and introduce her music to fans across Australia throughout 2009 while writing songs in preparation for the recording of her debut album.
